TaskPocket
Organize your life, not your to-do app
My favorite to-do app only ran on Apple devices, and work gave me a Windows laptop. Everything else I tried was built for teams or pushed AI, so I built TaskPocket: inbox, today, and projects grouped into areas, with dates and repeats typed in plain words. It runs in any browser and on iPhone, where it works offline. No AI inside, but there's a public API and an MCP server, so you can connect the Claude or ChatGPT you already pay for. The free plan has unlimited tasks.
Hey Product Hunt! I'm Bohdan, and I build TaskPocket on my own.
This started almost a year ago, when work gave me a Windows laptop. For 5 or 6 years before that I used Things 3, which I still think is the best to-do app ever made. Everything feels polished and simple. But it only runs on Apple devices.
So I looked around. Most of the big apps are built for teams, or they turn into project management tools with a lot of features I don't need. They also push AI hard, when almost everyone already pays for Claude or ChatGPT anyway.
So I built my own. My inspiration was Things 3, Todoist, and Superlist, and I tried to keep the balance between features and a calm UI:
Inbox, Today, Upcoming, and projects grouped into areas
Dates and repeats typed in plain words, like "water the plants every other saturday at 10am"
Tags, plus smart projects that save a filter (Premium)
File attachments, with previews right in the browser
A month calendar for upcoming tasks (Premium, web)
A public API and an MCP server, so you can connect the AI you already pay for
The honest part: there's no Android app and no desktop app yet. Both are on the list, together with priorities and a calendar view inside projects. No dates promised.
The free plan has unlimited tasks. For Product Hunt, code PRODUCTHUNT gives 40% off Premium for the first year, or off the lifetime plan.
I've used TaskPocket every day for almost a year, for work and everything else. What would stop you from switching to it?
