Tamareel
Turn your video collection into a personal streaming library
Tamareel is a privacy-focused video library for your personal use. Your videos are not published or shared with others, and you can store, organize, watch, and make simple edits in one place.
I built Tamareel out of a frustration I kept running into with general-purpose cloud storage.
These services work well for storing files, but the experience often falls short when it comes to video. Previewing videos can feel slow or limited, and organizing a growing collection using metadata is often inconvenient.
I wanted a cloud storage experience designed specifically around how people store, organize, and watch videos. That’s why I built Tamareel—a private, video-first cloud library.
With Tamareel, you can:
• Upload and stream videos directly in your browser
• Organize them with titles, descriptions, tags, series, and playlists
• Quickly search your growing collection
• Create simple edits by selecting and combining scenes
• Keep everything private, without public links or sharing features
Privacy is a core part of the product. Your videos can only be viewed through your account, and they are not published or shared with other users.
This is still an early-stage product, so I’d especially love your feedback.
Thank you for checking out Tamareel!
