Tabhand
Let your AI agents use your real Chrome, in the background
Tabhand lets Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode and 15 other AI agents use the Chrome you're already signed in to. Each agent opens its own background tabs, grouped under its name and muted, so Chrome never jumps in front of you and you keep working. An agent can only reach the tabs it opened, never yours. Every agent gets its own cursor you can watch, and one click pauses them all. One command sets it up: npx tabhand setup. Free, open source (MIT), and it runs entirely on your Mac.
Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Mustafa.
I built Tabhand because I wanted my coding agents to get things done in the browser (check a dashboard, read my inbox, test my app while signed in) without taking over my screen or needing my passwords.
How it works:
• One command, npx tabhand setup, adds it to Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, Gemini CLI and 14 other agents, and connects them to the Chrome extension.
• Each agent opens its own background tabs, grouped under its name and muted. Chrome never jumps in front of what you're doing.
• An agent can only reach the tabs it opened, never yours and never another agent's.
• You can watch: every agent has its own cursor, and one click on the toolbar icon pauses them all.
• Tabhand runs entirely on your Mac: no servers, no accounts, no telemetry. It's MIT licensed.
It's macOS and Google Chrome for now; Windows and Linux are on the roadmap. I'd love to hear what you'd have your agents do with it, and what's missing.

Who hunted Tabhand?
Tabhand was hunted by Mustafa Raja. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
