Tabby.money
Split group costs with one link. No app or signup.
A free expense splitter that runs in your browser. Make a tab, drop the link in the group chat, and everyone adds what they paid. Nobody downloads an app or makes an account. Split each cost between the people it was for and Tabby works out who owes who.
Hi, I'm Arthur and I made Tabby.
Every group trip I went on ended the same way. One person booked the Airbnb, someone else got the train tickets, and a month later the group chat was still full of "I'll send it later". Splitwise would have fixed it, but getting eight people (half of them friends of friends) to download an app and sign up for one weekend never happened.
So Tabby is just a link. You make a tab, paste the link in the chat, and everyone picks their name and adds what they paid. Nobody signs up, not even the person who makes the tab. You can split a cost between only the people it was for, so the non-drinkers stay off the bar bill, and at the end it shows who owes who and the fewest payments to settle up.
It's small on purpose: one currency per tab, equal splits, no receipt scanning, no reminders. If you split rent every month, Splitwise is still the better pick. Tabby is for trips, stag and hen dos, festivals and dinners.
It's free, with no ads. And no, it's not the buy now, pay later Tabby.
What would make you use it on your next trip?
