Super Shortcuts
Context-aware automation keyboard for macOS
Hold Caps Lock and a keyboard appears: every shortcut you've bound in the app you're in, on the key it lives on. Press it, it runs. Open an app, press keys, paste a snippet, click a button, run a script: one key each. Shortcuts know which app, site or window you're in, so one key means different things in Gmail and in your CRM. Runs on your Mac, works offline, voice transcribed on-device. For most people it replaces Raycast or Alfred. Free up to 20 shortcuts; Pro $12/month.
Hi Product Hunt, I'm Mike. I built Super Shortcuts because I did the same six things in the same apps all day, and automating them on macOS was more work than just doing them. It tracks the time it saves, and for me that's about two hours every week.
The idea: turn Caps Lock into a Super key (it still works as Caps Lock when you tap it). Hold it and a shortcut keyboard appears with the shortcuts you've bound in the app you're in, each on its trigger key. The keys change with the app or website you're in. Press or click one and it runs. A shortcut can do simple things, like open an app or a website, remap a hotkey (mine: the four-finger screenshot-to-clipboard combo, now one key), type a prompt or click a button, or chain those building blocks into a multi-step automation. Every shortcut can also be triggered by a spoken phrase, transcribed on your Mac, so it works offline.
For most people this replaces launchers like Raycast or Alfred: launch apps and websites instantly, without typing into a box first. What it won't do is search your files or hold a clipboard history.
Free covers up to 20 shortcuts with every action type. Pro is $12/month: unlimited shortcuts, voice, sync between Macs and more, with a 7-day trial. Every install signs in; that's how Pro follows you between Macs.
I'm here all day. Tell me the thing you repeat most and I'll tell you whether it can be a key.

Who hunted Super Shortcuts?
Super Shortcuts was hunted by Mike Le. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
