Hi Product Hunt! I built Sudoku Corner because I wanted what chess players have: a rating that means something and a real opponent on the other side.
The hardest part was making a race fair over flaky mobile connections. Time is measured on the server, and when one player finishes, the other gets exactly the time they still need to catch up (their penalty difference plus a few seconds for the network), so a slow phone never decides a match.
Puzzles are graded with Sudoku Explainer, so a division is a real difficulty band, and the Expert puzzles need techniques like X-Wing and XY-Wing.
You can try a solo puzzle without an account. I'd love feedback on the ranked rules, the Expert puzzles and the first five minutes of onboarding!
