Hi everyone, I built StockPrinter because I was frustrated with how difficult it is to scan the market for high-quality trends. Most screeners either dump hundreds of metrics on you or rely on very basic filters. I wanted something that could answer a simpler question: what phase of a trend is this stock in? StockPrinter analyzes stocks using quantitative signals like Sharpe ratio, R² trend strength, volatility compression, participation, and momentum efficiency, then groups them into intuitive categories such as: • Coiled – compressed setups building energy • Transitioning – trends starting to strengthen • Definitive – established high-quality trends The goal is to make it easier to scan the market quickly and understand why a stock is behaving the way it is. This project is still evolving, and I’m very interested in hearing how traders and investors approach market scanning. What signals or metrics do you rely on most when looking for strong trends?
