Your AI Job Pilot
Local job search assistant for Germany: finds jobs daily, scores them against your CV, writes truthful tailored CVs and cover letters.
Top comment
Hi Product Hunt, I'm Sourav, a Data Science master's student in Germany. I built Stellenpilot because my own job search was eating my evenings. Every day I opened the same job boards, read ads half in German, guessed if my A2 German was enough, and rewrote my CV and cover letter for each role. Most of that time went into sorting, not applying. Stellenpilot does the sorting for you. It searches the big German job boards and about 200 company career pages every day, scores each job against your CV and tells you honestly where you fall short. For your best matches, it writes a tailored CV and cover letter. It reads German job ads, checks which German level they really ask for, and hides the ones far above yours. The whole app works in English or German: you pick the language in the first setup step and can switch any time in Settings. Your CV stays on your computer, because there is a free AI that runs locally with no account and no API key. It also never invents experience. Every sentence is checked against your real CV, and anything it can't back up gets removed. You still read everything and send each application yourself. It began as a script for myself and grew into an app for Windows and Mac. I built it with an AI pair programmer, but the decisions are mine. It's free and open source under the MIT license. I'd love your honest feedback, especially if you're job hunting in Germany right now. What would make this useful for you?
