Maker here. Quick story.
For years I couldn't focus at a desk without something running on a second monitor. Eventually it was just a static star map and Synthwave tracks. I'd also tried a focus app where a tiny plane flies between airports for the length of your session, close but the destination never felt like it meant anything. At some point I thought, what if the star map or space IS the focus tool?
First build was set on Mars. My wife glanced over and said "why not real stars?" That night I found the HYG Database and the NASA Exoplanet Archive. Threw away the Mars build and started over.
