Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Max, and I built Spin solo over the last couple of months. It started with a simple observation: all my music discovery had been outsourced to algorithms — and the songs that actually stuck with me still came from friends going "you HAVE to hear this." So I built the anti-feed. On Spin, everyone shares exactly one song per day, and you can't see what your friends picked until you've posted yours. The posting window is short and fixed, so it becomes a small shared daily moment instead of another bottomless timeline — think of it as a daily ritual, not a platform to get lost in. A few deliberate choices: there's no in-app playback at all — Spin shows the cover and metadata, and the full track opens in Spotify with one tap. Miss a day and your streak only survives if you've earned a freeze (one per 7-day run). And if you miss the main window, a random 15-minute second-chance window per day keeps it forgiving. Tech, for the curious: SwiftUI + Supabase (Postgres with row-level security doing the heavy lifting), one solo dev. Getting through App Review's UGC-safety requirements was an adventure of its own — happy to share war stories. I'd love your feedback — especially on the locked-feed mechanic.
