Sounds
Mix your own ambient soundscapes for sleep and focus
Sounds turns 100+ ambient loops into soundscapes you actually control. Layer rain, fire, and wind with per-sound volume. Chain mixes into timed sequences that fade automatically. Sleep timer, Siri, home-screen widget, Live Activity. One-time unlock, no subscription.
There are a lot of ambient sound apps. I'm not going to pretend I invented the category. I'm launching this one because after trying a bunch of them, I kept bouncing off the same two things: they wanted a subscription, and they were heavier than the job I needed done.
The job is small. Put on rain and a fire, at the volumes I like, and have it stop on its own once I'm asleep.
So Sounds is that, done carefully:
Mixes. Layer sounds, set each one's volume, save it. A mix is a link, so you can send someone what you sleep to.
Sequences. 20 min of rain, then ocean, then fire until the timer runs out. Crossfades between each.
Stays out of the way. Siri, a home-screen widget, a Live Activity with the countdown, and a toggle to layer under a podcast instead of fighting it.
Where I actually spent the time was the audio itself. Every loop is hand-trimmed with a crossfade at the wrap, so there's no click when it repeats. That click is the thing that makes these apps quietly annoying at 2am, and it's in more of them than you'd expect.
One-time unlock, no subscription. The free tier is usable on its own: 2 saved mixes, ~10 sounds, and the sleep timer is never paywalled.
Free lifetime Pro for everyone here today. Codes are single-use, so I'm sending them individually rather than dumping a list. Comment below (or DM me) with iOS or Android and I'll reply with yours. I'll be here all day.
It's early and I'm sure something's missing. Tell me what and I'll fix it.

Who hunted Sounds?
Sounds was hunted by Mustafa Bhatkar. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
