Soot
A free 2-minute reset for ADHD spirals, with a calm cat
A free ADHD app with a calm cat. The 2-minute Reset is for when you're stuck or spiralling: name the moment, step back from the story, find one small first step. No signup for the Reset. Your words stay on the page.
Hi Product Hunt, I'm Diven from Raedus Labs, a small studio in Australia.
Before building Soot we read about 22,000 app reviews and 8,000 posts from ADHD adults. The same complaint kept coming up: apps that are good at tracking and bad at the two minutes after something goes wrong. A rejection spiral. A mistake that won't stop replaying. Being frozen and unable to start.
So the free part is a tool called the Reset. No signup, about two minutes: pick what's happening, name the feeling, step back from the story your brain is telling, find one small first step, and check back later. Your words stay on the page. Nothing is saved or sent.
The free app adds Soot, a calm cat whose room fills in as you use it, three written steps a day, and small daily and weekly rituals. No ads, and we never sell your data.
We're not clinicians. Soot isn't therapy or crisis care. It's a self-help tool for adults, and there's a Help now page if things are urgent.
What's the moment your current tools never catch? I'd really like to know.
