I built Sleep Timer for Android TV after constantly falling asleep with my TV still running overnight. Most existing sleep timer apps felt outdated, cluttered, full of ads, or simply not designed for TV remotes.
So I decided to build a cleaner experience focused specifically on Android TV & Google TV.
Some things I focused on: • remote-friendly UI • quick one-click timers • scheduled shutdowns • always-visible countdown overlay • OLED burn-in protection with pixel shifting • screen limit for kids (set a strict viewing cutoff time) • support for TVs, phones, and tablets • completely ad-free
It works with devices like Chromecast with Google TV, NVIDIA Shield, Xiaomi Mi Box, and other devices running Android TV.
