Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Fatih, the maker behind Simba.
I built Simba after noticing how often I opened distracting apps without making a conscious decision. Most app blockers could stop me, but their generic restriction screens never reminded me why I wanted to stay away in the first place.
That became the core idea behind Simba: create a small pause between you and the distraction.
Simba lets you block apps and websites with quick focus sessions, reusable schedules, routines, and Hard Mode. When you try to open something blocked, a custom Simba screen appears with the cat mascot and a reminder in the tone you selected motivational, honest, playful, brutal, or mixed.
What started as a simple blocker gradually became a supportive focus companion, with Live Activities, streaks, blocked-attempt insights, and Parent Mode.
