Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built Sift because I kept getting burned buying stuff online: glowing reviews that turned out to be fake, "clean" products with sketchy ingredients, sellers that vanished after a recall. Between Temu hauls and TikTok Shop finds, it felt impossible to know what was actually legit before hitting buy.
Sift is an AI trust check for anything you buy online. Paste a product link (or use the Chrome extension while you shop) and it checks:
Fake/incentivized reviews
Ingredient and safety claims
Active recalls (FDA, CPSC, etc.)
Seller reputation and history
The goal is simple: know before you spend, not after you're disappointed (or worse).
