In our house, groceries ran on WhatsApp: "did anyone buy milk?", two people buying the same thing, and one person (usually [who]) fronting the money and quietly losing track of who owed what.
List apps fixed the list. Split apps fixed the money. Nothing connected the two — so I built ShareLista.
How it works:
• One shared list — everyone adds from their own phone, it syncs instantly
• Store Mode — big tick-boxes and a running total while you shop (works offline)
• The trip becomes household expenses — see who paid, who's owed, and settle up any amount
• Optional monthly budget for the household pot, plus recurring bills like rent and electricity
