Hey Product Hunt! As a designer and developer, copying text from images on my Mac was always tedious. I’d either drop the image into ChatGPT and ask it to extract the text, or save the file, open it in Preview, use the text selection tool, and copy what I needed. So I built Selectable.

From the same selection, you can instantly translate (on macOS 26+), listen with TTS, or mask sensitive data before sharing. Runs entirely on-device using Apple Vision.
