Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I’m excited to launch Saffron Syndicate, a free online strategy card game set in a luxury desert bazaar.
I wanted to build a card game that felt fast and approachable, but still had enough depth for competitive play. Over time it grew into a full ranked experience with 2-4 player multiplayer, public contracts, tactic tokens, special bonus seals, Merchant House powers, ranked seasons, leaderboards, cosmetics, profiles, friends, parties, and shareable match results.
The big challenge was making the game feel less like a static web app and more like a living digital board game, so a lot of work went into the art direction, card animations, music, badges, ranked UI, and game feel.
Since it’s multiplayer, the hardest part now is getting players into the bazaar at the same time. I’d love feedback on the onboarding, ranked flow, balance, and overall first-time experience.
