Hi Product Hunt, I’m Erik, a backend engineer in the Netherlands and the solo builder behind Sablora. I built it because invoicing tools for freelancers handle the easy part (a nice PDF) and leave the hard parts to you: which VAT applies to a client in another EU country, when reverse charge kicks in, and what to do now that Belgium, France and Germany are rolling out e-invoicing mandates. What Sablora does: Recurring invoices with a send date per invoice. Leave the date blank and it goes out on the last day of the month. VAT worked out per country, including reverse charge and exemptions, with the legal reason printed on the invoice. One toggle turns every invoice into a Factur-X/ZUGFeRD PDF: a readable page for your client with EN 16931 XML inside for their accounting software. Credit notes included. Every release is tested against the official EN 16931 schematron and PDF/A-3 checks, so a document your client’s validator would reject doesn’t ship. An “I’ve paid” link in the invoice email. Your client clicks it without an account, you confirm, and the receipt sends and files itself. What it doesn’t do yet: e-invoices go out by email, not over Peppol. That’s next on the roadmap, along with UBL output, which together cover Belgium’s mandate. It’s free for up to 5 invoices a month, no card required. Paid plans start at €9. Feedback from anyone who invoices clients across EU borders is the most useful thing you could give me right now. What breaks for you with your current tool?
