Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Meng, an architect in NYC. I spent years designing buildings that take a decade to exist, so I wanted to build something people could use next week. Every time I moved, I'd list a chair on Marketplace and spend days answering "is this still available?" for people who never showed up. Meanwhile perfectly good furniture kept ending up on the curb. RightPickr is my answer. Two design decisions shaped everything: 🃏 It's a game, not a search engine. Most of the time you don't know what you want until you see it, so instead of a search bar you get a deck of cards. Swipe right to pick, left to skip. 🚶 The radius is the neighborhood. You only see things you can walk to. Fewer results is the point. The seller sets pickup times when they post, so there's no back-and-forth: you pick a slot, walk over and show a code. The exact spot is only shared once you commit. It's free, with no ads and no data selling. It's live on iOS and starting in Jersey City, so if you're elsewhere, set the radius to "No Limit" to see what's there. I'd love your honest feedback, especially: • Does swiping make secondhand stuff more fun, or does it feel gimmicky? • How would you grow a hyperlocal app one block at a time? Thanks for checking it out! 🪑
