Reverse Engineering Anything Guide
Independent REA setup guides and evidence-led workflows
A free, independent field guide to REA: installation, Claude Code/Codex/Cursor setup, CLI examples, troubleshooting, and source-linked case studies. Choose setup commands in your browser and use a CSV investigation worksheet. Not the official REA project.
I built this independent guide to give newcomers one place to start with REA. You can choose an agent-specific setup command, find prerequisites and troubleshooting, and follow a bounded investigation workflow that separates code evidence from inference. The analysis runs in your own tools, not on this website. REA itself is maintained upstream at github.com/morluto/rea. The guide links official case studies rather than claiming to reproduce them. I would welcome feedback on which setup step needs a clearer explanation. AI assisted with writing and implementation; the site and companion CSV fixture script were checked locally.
