Reels Downloader
Download Instagram & Facebook Reels right from Chrome
Save public Instagram and Facebook Reels in Chrome. Download the Reel you’re viewing, or collect profile Reel links with skip and limit controls, review them and download in batches. Export links as JSON and keep tasks running when the side panel closes. Media downloads directly to your device, without a third-party media-processing server. Get 100 free downloads total; Pro removes the lifetime download quota. Save only content you own or have permission to download.
Hi Product Hunt! I’m Saif, the maker of Reels Downloader.
I built it to make saving permitted public Reels a simple browser workflow: download the Reel you’re watching, or collect links from a profile’s Reels tab, review them and download in batches. It supports both Instagram and Facebook.
A few details I focused on:
• An on-page download button and a Chrome side panel.
• Skip and limit controls for profile collection.
• Saved links, download status, retry controls and JSON link export.
• Background tasks that continue when you close the panel. Chrome and the task tab must stay open.
• Direct media downloads to your device, without sending videos to a third-party processing server.
The free allowance is 100 completed downloads total across both platforms. Pro removes that lifetime quota, with monthly and annual plans. Profile collections have a 500-link safety cap.
It’s for public content you own or have permission to download. Not every Reel exposes a supported downloadable source, and it doesn’t bypass private profiles or access restrictions.
I’d love your feedback: is single-Reel saving or collecting a profile’s Reels more useful to you?
