ReClaim Launcher
A calm Android home screen that curbs doomscrolling
ReClaim is an Android launcher that keeps useful apps one tap away and puts a little friction in front of the ones you open on autopilot. Block apps from 5 minutes to a year, set daily limits that close the app when time is up, schedule quiet hours, or get asked "how long do you plan to use this?" first. Currently free, one hundred percent free. No ads, no account.
Hey Product Hunt, I'm Tal, one of the people behind ReClaim.
We built this because we were losing hours to our phones and nothing stuck. Deleting apps lasted a weekend. Screen time dashboards told us how bad it was after the damage was done.
So we changed the home screen itself. The phone still works like a phone, but Instagram or TikTok need a second of intention before they open. The thing we use most is scheduled blocking: decide once that social apps are gone during work hours, and stop fighting it 50 times a day.
We put our heart and soul into this product. It's been months of evenings and weekends, and it really helped us manage our own phone use. That's the reason it exists, and the goal is to help other people with phone addiction too.
It's currently free, one hundred percent free. No ads and no account.
A few lessons learned along the way: hard blocks alone made us want to uninstall, while the softer "how long?" check got used far more. And hiding an app behind a tiny puzzle breaks the reflex more often than you'd think.
I'd love to hear what feels helpful and what feels like too much. I'll be here all day answering questions.
