Rated Analysis
Rating Relative Chess Analysis
I've been a bit obsessed with chess lately and have read/heard things like "X is the top engine move, but no one under master plays that line". To me this begs the questions "which line are players below master playing" and "which line are players at/above/below my rating playing". So I built a tool to analyze the move distribution (win/draw/loss rate) from a given position across ratings (400, 600... 3000).

Who hunted Rated Analysis?
Rated Analysis was hunted by Tyler Pickles. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community. Love how this turns a casual question into something genuinely useful. The idea of slicing move distributions by rating brackets is exactly the kind of thing I wish existed when I was trying to understand club-level tendencies. Clean execution.
