Printery
Design brochures, catalogs and reports in your browser
Printery is a browser-based layout app for brochures, catalogs and reports. Flow text across pages, reuse styles, collect feedback and export PDFs with print controls. Start from a template, a blank document or your Figma designs.
Hi everyone, I’m part of the team building Printery.
A brochure looks finished. Then someone adds a paragraph. Text spills onto another page, headings need adjusting, and the client is still commenting on an older PDF.
We built Printery to help with that part of the job.
It’s a browser-based layout app for designers and small teams making brochures, catalogs and reports. You can start with a template or a blank document, then keep working on the publication as the content changes.
Connect text frames to let an article flow across columns and pages. Use paragraph styles and parent pages to keep headings, headers and footers consistent. When you need feedback, send a proof link for comments and approval. That link keeps the revision you shared, even as you continue editing.
Before delivery, check for missing fonts, text that doesn’t fit and low-resolution images. PDF export includes bleed, crop marks and CMYK options, with settings chosen to match your printer’s requirements.
Our work on this started with Printery for Figma (https://www.figma.com/community/...) in 2025. The plugin focused on print setup and export. For longer documents, we wanted a place to handle the ongoing layout work too.
If you already design in Figma, you can copy supported content into Printery or bring a print document over through our plugin. The imported content is an independent copy; later edits don’t automatically sync between the two tools. You can also use Printery without Figma.
For brochures, catalogs and reports, we want this to be a practical InDesign alternative that runs in your browser.
What do you use for these documents today, and which part of revising them takes the most work? I’d love to hear about a document you’re working on.

Who hunted Printery?
Printery was hunted by Storyship. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
