popCalendar
A full year in your menu bar, with a background clock
See a full year in your Mac's menu bar, with a live clock behind the calendar. Drag across dates to count days and workdays, even across years. Keep daily events beside two years with a month sidebar, or fill a whole display. Make it yours with photos and 27 clock presets. Add fullscreen meeting reminders, saved ranges, and countdowns. Native for Apple silicon and Intel. Core features work offline, with no ads or developer analytics.
Hi Product Hunt, I'm Ighor, the maker of popCalendar.
For years, my favorite calendar was a small Mac app that showed the entire year with one click in the menu bar. After its developer stopped working on it, I kept using it. Finding a replacement that felt right turned out to be surprisingly difficult.
So I built a new, independent popCalendar from scratch. I kept that full-year menu bar view and added two things I'd always wanted. Dragging across dates now counts days and workdays, including ranges across years. A live clock sits behind the calendar, so time and dates share the same view.
It has grown to include a month sidebar beside one or two years, independent windows, fullscreen meeting reminders, 27 clock presets, and personal photo backgrounds. You can keep it compact or dedicate a whole display to your calendar.
Calendar access is optional. Core features work offline, with no ads or developer analytics. The app is available now on the Mac App Store.

I'd love your feedback. Would you use popCalendar as a quick menu bar popup, or give your calendar a whole display?
