PodScout

Never miss saved RunPod pod availability again

PodScout is a Chrome extension for RunPod users who rely on saved pods with existing work, models, packages, configs, and checkpoints. It monitors saved pod availability, sends alerts, supports manual Start/Stop controls, and includes optional Pro features like autoclaiming saved pods, 24/7 monitoring, and SMS alerts.

Top comment

I built PodScout after constantly losing time waiting for my saved RunPod pods to become available again. My saved pods already have a workspace set up: models, packages, configs, checkpoints, and working ML environments. I know that RunPod offers to move files, but rebuilding the exact same environment I already had was annoying and time consuming. Feedback from other RunPod users or anyone who works with other cloud GPU workflows would be greatly appreciated.

Who hunted PodScout?

PodScout was hunted by Darren. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
