Hey everyone, I’m Aiko, the founder of PitchPolar! 👋 The idea started while I was working part-time at an AI startup. One day, the founder asked me to find online pitch events he could apply to. I thought it would be a quick task. Instead, I spent hours searching across organizer websites, event calendars and registration pages. Then I had to manually check each event’s dates, time zones, application deadlines, fees and eligibility. Even after finding an event, figuring out whether he could actually apply to pitch took more digging. And it wasn’t a one-time task. New events kept appearing, details changed, and I needed to keep track of which organizers and calendars to check again. I kept thinking: there should be an easier way. We couldn’t find a platform that brought together what we needed, so we decided to build one ourselves. That became PitchPolar—a place to discover pitch opportunities with the key information checked and organized, helping founders spend less time searching and more time building.
