Chrome's built-in PiP gives you a bare video with zero controls. PiP Cue gives you three modes: Standard PiP that works on any video on any website, Cinematic PiP with full playback controls, live subtitles, A-B loop, and speed control inside the floating window, and Captions Only mode that floats just the subtitles over your work. Save any video with its exact timestamp and pick up later from any device. Completely free. No account needed to start.
Hey everyone, Naveen here.
I built PiP Cue because I kept losing my place in YouTube podcasts and tutorials. Chrome's built-in PiP is basically a bare video rectangle with no controls. And the premium extensions charge $3/month for features that should be free.
So I built my own. Three PiP modes, live captions in the floating window, A-B loop for replaying tricky sections, speed control, and a save-to-watch feature that bookmarks videos with their exact timestamp.
Coming next: Netflix and Disney+ support, bilingual subtitles for language learners, and unlimited cloud-synced bookmarks in a Pro tier.
Would love to hear what features you'd want most. Try it out and let me know what breaks!
