PillsCircle
Medication reminders for aging parents, no app needed
PillsCircle texts your aging parent a friendly reminder with one big button to tap. The moment they tap it, you know they're on track. There's no app for them to download and no account for them to manage. It's built for adult kids caring for a parent from a distance. Free 14-day trial, US-only for now.
Hey everyone. I built PillsCircle after years of the daily "did you take your pills?" phone call with my own family. The pill organizer was never the hard part. The hard part was knowing, from another city, whether the morning dose actually got taken.
Most medication apps assume the older person will download an app, make an account, and tap through a dashboard. Mine doesn't. The parent just gets a normal text with one big button. They tap it, and you see "taken" on your phone. Nothing for them to install, nothing to learn.
One thing I'd rather say up front than have anyone find out later: a tapped button isn't proof a pill was swallowed. It reminds, and it keeps a record you can actually look back on. It doesn't force a dose, and the medical decisions stay with your parent and their doctor.
It's US-only for now and there's a free 14-day trial. If you're caring for a parent at a distance, I'd really like to hear what would make this genuinely useful for you.

Who hunted PillsCircle?
PillsCircle was hunted by Gabriel Madeira. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
