Hi Product Hunt! I'm Maki, the founder of Maknitive.
I started Maknitive because I wanted to build useful Mac applications that don't have to be expensive or complicated.
As someone who spends a lot of time on my Mac, I've always appreciated tools that make everyday work easier. But I also noticed how many simple productivity apps come with recurring subscriptions.
That's what inspired me to start building my own.
My first project is PersonalCapture, a native Mac screenshot and productivity app focused on simplicity, performance, and privacy.
My goal isn't to build the most expensive software or compete with the biggest companies. I simply want to create practical tools that people can afford and genuinely enjoy using.
Maknitive is still growing, and I'm building it independently, one app at a time.
