PawModel
AI portraits and reels that actually look like your pet
Most AI tools give you generic golden retrievers. PawModel trains a custom model on YOUR specific pet from 10–20 photos, then generates real portraits and short video reels in any style — oil painting, watercolor, superhero, holiday card, you name it.
Hey Hunters — Craig here, maker of PawModel.
The frustration that started this: every AI tool I tried gave me a generic version of my dog. "A cattledog mix in a superhero pose" produced a generic dog — never Haley. The ticking pattern on her chest was always wrong. Her freckles never showed. The eyes were always somebody else's eyes.
So PawModel actually trains a custom LoRA on your pet from a small set of photos, then runs generation against that personal model. Result: when the output ships, it's your pet — not the breed.
What's in v1:
Custom AI model per pet, ~10 minute training Portraits in any style (oil painting, watercolor, anime, holiday card, superhero, renaissance, more)
Short video reels — storyboard, animate scenes, music, share
One-time credit packs from $14.99, no subscription
Built solo on Next.js 16, Supabase, fal.ai. Mobile-first. Happy to answer anything — pricing, models, the LoRA pipeline, the launch math, whatever.

Who hunted PawModel?
PawModel was hunted by Craig MacKay. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
