Pact Pals
Make a fitness pact with friends and hatch pixel pets
Pact Pals turns daily steps into a co-op game. Make a pact with friends, reach your goals together, and hatch pixel pets. Built for people who struggle to stay motivated. Free Android app available now; iPhone coming soon.
Hi, I'm Javi. I've tried C25K a few times, but I always lose motivation early on. I'm a software engineer and a gamer, so I spend too much time sitting.
I'm building Pact Pals with a few friends to give us a reason to move more. You make a pact around a daily step goal, keep each other accountable, and hatch a pixel pet together. It's for people like me who want to get into exercise but struggle to stick with it.
The Android app is available as a free download from the website. iPhone is coming soon.
I'd love to know whether doing this with friends would help you keep going, and what usually makes you give up on an exercise routine.

Who hunted Pact Pals?
Pact Pals was hunted by Javier Rengel. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
