I'm Parikhit, solo founder of Orwellix, and I built this because I was genuinely frustrated with how broken the AI writing workflow is.
The problem isn't that AI writing tools are bad. It's that they're disconnected. You paste your draft into ChatGPT, it rewrites without context. Grammarly highlights what's wrong but won't fix it. Hemingway tells you a sentence is hard to read but won't touch it. You end up with three tabs open, copy-pasting between them, and the AI never actually understands your document.
What Orwellix does differently:
Agent Mode lives inside the editor. You write your draft, then prompt the agent, "fix the passive voice and fact-check the statistics." It reads your entire document, runs a live web search for current data, then proposes tracked edits directly in your text. You see every change highlighted. Accept what you like, reject what you don't. Your voice stays yours.
It's the same workflow that made Cursor a $20B company for developers. Nobody had applied it to writing, so I spent 12 months building it solo.
