OQRO

Insider and Congress trades, read against their history

OQRO reads SEC Forms 4 and 144, 13F fund filings, Congress trade reports, 8-K events and federal contracts, and explains each filing in plain words with the link to the official document. Each insider purchase is compared with the company's own filings since 2006, so a rare one stands out: first buy in years, largest ever, several insiders the same week. Plus a written context on each filing, baskets against the S&P 500, alerts, an assistant that cites every row, and an MCP server. Not advice.

Top comment

Hi everyone, I am the maker. OQRO started from a simple annoyance: the SEC and the House and Senate disclosure sites are hard to read, and a raw list of trades says nothing about whether one is unusual. OQRO compares each insider purchase with the company's own filings since 2006 and writes what happened, in plain words, next to the official document. Last week (Oct 5 to 11): insiders filed 247 open-market purchases worth about $358M; ten stood out against their company's record, and the largest was $67.5M of Lennar by Berkshire Hathaway (a 10% holder, not an executive). What is new: a context line on each filing built only from facts in our tables (the company's own 8-K reports, days since results, the price before and after), checked by a validator so no number or name is invented; an assistant that cites every row; and an MCP server so Claude or Cursor can ask the same data (it is in the official MCP registry). OQRO never says what to buy or why someone traded. The weekly recap and rare-trade page are free with no account. I would love to hear what is confusing or missing.

Who hunted OQRO?

OQRO was hunted by Koka Gugunava. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
