Onetap

Say an expense, or let your bank's alerts log it

Onetap is a voice expense tracker for Android. Hold the mic and say "flat white, four fifty": it fills in the amount, description and category for you to confirm. Or pick your banking apps, and their payment alerts become entries on their own.

Hi everyone, I'm Asad. Onetap is my second expense app, after Coinly. Building Coinly taught me that most people don't quit expense tracking because they don't care where their money goes. They quit because logging every coffee gets old. So Onetap tries to remove the typing: - Hold the mic and say "flat white, four fifty". Onetap works out the description, amount and category, and shows it to you before saving. - Or choose which banking or wallet apps it should watch. When one of them sends a payment notification, that becomes an entry. No bank login; it only reads the notifications you already get, from the apps you picked. To be upfront about how it works: the voice clip and the notification text are read by an AI service. Card and account numbers are masked on your phone before anything is sent, and one-time codes are dropped entirely. Your ledger itself is stored encrypted on the phone. Everything is free for 3 days, no card needed. After that, voice and bank automation are part of Pro ($7.99/month, $69.99/year or $179.99 once), because every voice entry costs real money to process. Android only for now. I'd really like to know what your bank's notifications look like if it misreads one. That's the part I'm improving most.
