Hey everyone, I'm the founder of MyoGo. I started building it after seeing parents who wanted to help their kids but didn't really understand what myofunctional therapy was or how it could help. A parent might hear that their child's tongue is resting too far forward, or that tongue thrust or mouth breathing needs attention. Suddenly they're trying to understand something they hadn't thought about before. And if exercises are recommended, they still have to figure out how to get their kid to actually do the practice at home. I wanted to make that part easier. MyoGo helps kids practice myofunctional exercises through guided demonstrations and interactive games. Activities cover tongue placement, tongue, lip and cheek movements, and nasal breathing. Kids copy real-person demonstrations, with the front camera available as a mirror and live feedback on supported movements. Then the movements become the game controls, so kids can have fun while building a healthy practice habit. Parents can check practice history too. Access was a big part of why I started. Some families struggle to afford professional support, and I wanted to make home practice more approachable and easier to access. A child's dentist or therapist still guides which activities are appropriate. MyoGo is live for iPhone and iPad. Camera and microphone input stays on the device, and there are no accounts or ads. I'd love to hear from parents and people who work with kids. What would make this useful in your day-to-day routine?
