Hi everyone — I'm Michael, founder of MyCBA.
I spent 20 years as a steward, organizer, and grievance chair before I built this. Every union I worked in ran on the same three things: a CBA in a binder no one could find, a grievance log in a spreadsheet that broke every month, and a steward's memory that walked out the door the day they retired.
Members lost grievances they should have won. Stewards burned out chasing deadlines. Locals lost institutional knowledge every time someone left. The labor movement built the middle class — but we've been running it on tools from 1985.
MyCBA is the platform I wish I'd had at 22, sitting in my first arbitration with a three-ring binder on my lap.
What's in it:
Contract Q&A — upload your CBA, ask in plain English, get the exact clause back in seconds
Grievance management — filing → step tracking → arbitration, with deadline math that handles weekends, holidays, and business-day rules
Management reply capture — every grievance email gets a tracked Reply-To, so when management responds (with attachments), it lands directly on the grievance file
Steward training — Weingarten, just cause, every scenario you'll face on the floor
Member portal — members can read their contract, log incidents, and ask questions before something becomes a grievance
Three portals (organizer / steward / member), one platform. The AI never replaces a steward — it makes one steward as effective as three.
