Mouse of The Dragon

A tiny fire-breathing dragon for your Mac cursor

A tiny dragon glides after your Mac cursor, breathes fire when you click, puffs smoke on right-click, and coughs if you click too fast. Pick one of five breeds, then remix every part — body, wings, horns, eyes, palette — in the Dragon Builder. Free, signed and notarized, and it needs zero permissions: no Accessibility, no Input Monitoring, no network, no tracking. Overlay-only, so it never blocks a click. Emergency off: ⌃⌥⌘D.

Hi Product Hunt! 🐉 I built Mouse of The Dragon because my cursor looked lonely. It's a tiny dragon that glides after your pointer, breathes fire when you click, puffs smoke on right-click, and coughs judgmentally if you rapid-click. What I cared about while building it: • Zero permissions — no Accessibility, no Input Monitoring, no Screen Recording. It's a click-through overlay that physically cannot block or read your input. • No network, no analytics, no accounts. The app never goes online. • Five breeds plus a full Dragon Builder — remix body, wings, horns, eyes, regalia, and palette. • Signed, notarized, Universal 2, and free. • A panic button (⌃⌥⌘D) that instantly returns your Mac to normal. It will not make you more productive. That is the point. Which breed are you adopting? I'm team Noble Hatchling.
