Mornio

The alarm that checks you actually stayed awake

Mornio is an iPhone alarm for people who turn it off and fall asleep again. Scan a QR code or barcode away from bed to finish your alarm. If you silence it without scanning, the alarm returns. Mornio then checks again a few minutes later to help you stay awake. Built with Apple’s AlarmKit, it is a focused wake-up system - not another bloated sleep tracker. No account, no ads, and no tracking.

Top comment

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built Mornio for a very specific problem: hearing your alarm, turning it off while half asleep, and waking up much later than planned. I did not want to build another complicated sleep tracker or an alarm filled with random challenges. I wanted one focused wake-up flow: 1. Choose a QR code or barcode away from your bed. 2. Scan it when the alarm rings. 3. If you silence the alarm without scanning, Mornio brings it back. 4. A few minutes later, Mornio checks that you are still awake. Mornio is built for iPhone using Apple’s AlarmKit. It requires no Mornio account, contains no ads, and does not track users. This is the first public version, so I would especially appreciate feedback on: • The onboarding experience • Choosing a useful scan item • The stay-awake check • Anything that feels confusing or unnecessary Thanks for checking out Mornio. I’ll be here throughout the launch day answering every question.
