Hi Product Hunt, I built MetaScope because photo metadata is still far more painful than it should be. Photographers, archivists, and image-heavy teams often need to inspect, repair, copy, clean, search, and export EXIF, IPTC, and XMP metadata across large collections. The tools that exist are powerful, but often technical, fragmented, or not very pleasant to use on macOS. MetaScope is my attempt to turn metadata work into a focused native macOS workflow. It supports 50+ file formats including RAW, batch editing, controlled vocabularies, keyword workflows, metadata search, template management, and document exports. The app is built privacy-first, with local processing and no cloud dependency for your media. I would love feedback from photographers, archivists, DAM users, metadata nerds, and anyone who has ever lost time fixing broken photo dates, GPS fields, keywords, or IPTC data. Happy to answer questions.
