Last week I was getting ready to ship my Mac app and hit the least glamorous part of launching anything: icons. I needed an .icns for macOS, an AppIcon set for Xcode, favicons for the website, a site.webmanifest, an apple-touch-icon, and a few social avatars. Each one meant another online generator that wanted my logo uploaded, another zip file to unpack, and another blog post explaining which sizes still matter. So I built a small Mac app to do it all at once. You drop in one logo, tick the formats you need, and click Export, and a neat folder appears right next to your file. It started with favicons and macOS, then kept growing every time I or a friend shipped something new: PWA and maskable icons, iOS with the iOS 18 dark and tinted variants, Android adaptive icons, Windows, Linux, Steam, Tauri, Electron, browser extensions, and the Microsoft Store. That's Luere Icon Studio: one logo in, every icon out. It's free, runs entirely on your Mac, and never uploads a file. I'd love to know which platform you generate icons for most, and what's missing.
