Hey Product Hunt 👋
Lucide is one of the most loved open-source icon sets, but it only comes in outline. Every product we worked on hit the same wall: the moment you need an active tab, a selected item or a liked button, there's no matching filled icon. Setting fill works on a few icons, like the heart, but most are built from lines, so the fill blots or fills the wrong shapes.
So we redrew them. Lucide Extended has:
→ 1,400+ filled and 1,200+ duotone icons, with Lucide's names, so Heart sits next to HeartFilled and HeartDuotone
→ A free Figma Community file with matching component names, so design and code use the same names
→ A React package that's tree-shakeable, typed, and uses currentColor so it follows your theme
→ A website to search, copy SVG or JSX, and download any icon
It's free and open source (ISC, like Lucide). It's an unofficial community project, not affiliated with Lucide.
Not every icon has both styles yet. Some just don't work as a filled shape, and some we haven't drawn. Next up is a Raycast extension and more coverage.
