I’m the maker of LoopCall, and I’m incredibly excited to share it with you all today.
What inspired this?
Living in the US, I became completely exhausted by the endless wave of robocalls and spam. Like most of you, I tried standard blocking apps, but scammers just rotate through thousands of spoofed numbers daily. Blocking them passively felt like a losing game of Whack-A-Mole.
I realized we needed to flip the script. Scammers operate on a numbers game—if they spend time talking to someone who isn't buying, they lose money. That’s when the idea for LoopCall was born: What if we used AI to fight back and make scamming economically unviable?
How it works & Evolving the process
LoopCall uses Conditional Call Forwarding (CCF) to route suspected spam to our specialized AI Voice Bot. The AI acts like a real person, using conversational loops to drag out the call and waste the scammer's time.
During our initial development, we faced a major challenge: traditional apps run heavily in the background, killing user battery life. We shifted our technical architecture entirely to the network/carrier level. Because of this pivot, LoopCall provides maximum AI protection with absolute zero battery drain. Plus, you get an instant transcript of the call to see exactly how our AI handled the scammer.
