Loom
See what your local coding agents are doing on your Mac
A native macOS menu-bar app for monitoring Codex, Claude Code and Antigravity. Correlate sessions with repositories, inspect lifecycle and provider health, and view usage where supported. Local-first, read-only, free and MIT open source.
Hi, I'm Deepak, Loom's developer.
I built Loom around a simple question: what are all my local coding agents doing on my Mac right now?
Loom brings Codex, Claude Code and Antigravity into one native SwiftUI menu-bar app. It correlates processes with repositories and logical sessions, shows lifecycle states and process trees, and keeps provider health separate from whether an agent is working or waiting for input. Native macOS widgets let you glance at sessions and quotas from the desktop.
Monitoring is local-first and read-only. Loom doesn't send prompts, approve commands, edit projects or modify agent sessions, and it doesn't require a Loom account or hosted backend.
It's free and MIT licensed. Usage reporting depends on the provider's local interfaces; Claude Code quota reporting is currently unsupported.
I'd appreciate feedback on discovery accuracy, particularly missed sessions, incorrect repository matches and misleading lifecycle states. Source, build instructions and downloads: https://github.com/chaiwithcode/...

Who hunted Loom?
Loom was hunted by Deepak. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
