Lodestar is for two jobs: figuring out how unfamiliar code works, and checking a change before it goes in, especially one an AI assistant wrote. Ask a question and you get a map of the code path, step by step, pinned to real lines. Hover anything for a short explanation. Run a review and it flags bugs, security holes and AI slop, with one-click fixes.
It runs on the models you already have in Copilot Chat, so there's no extra AI subscription. It's a one-time $10.
