Living Projects
Let your AI pick up where you left off
Living Projects is a free plugin that helps your AI pick up where you left off. It saves your project’s notes, decisions, and the reasons behind them as plain-text files in your own Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive. Your AI can bring that saved work together to show what’s settled, what’s open, and what comes next. In a new conversation, it can read the saved context and continue—even when you switch between Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini. Your files stay yours, in the storage you choose.
Hi everyone, I’m Mariya 👋
Living Projects came out of a lot of frustration—and hours upon hours spent re-explaining my project to AI.
I’d started a big project with loads of information. The project was growing fast, and I had to explain it all again every time I started a new chat. At first, I did all of that by hand: copying and pasting, writing summaries, uploading updated documents, and trying different ways to keep things going.
Eventually, keeping track of the work was taking up too much of the time I wanted to spend actually doing it. So I stopped working on the project for a while to figure out how to make this into a tool I could use.
It took three tries to get to Living Projects. Three months later, I’m its first user, and honestly, it’s become more than I hoped for.
I work in ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. Most of my projects live in Dropbox, and some are in Google Drive. With Living Projects, I can move between them, say “we’re working in the [project name] home” (a project’s folder), and pick up from what we saved last time.
I use voice a lot when I’m away from my laptop, too. Sometimes I’ll work on three or four projects in one conversation—save something here, look up a detail from another project, follow an idea, then come back. Being able to do that without losing track has made such a difference for me.
I built Living Projects through conversations with AI, and used it to keep track of its own development. So it’s been part of my everyday work while I’ve been making it.
It’s free, and I’m working on bringing it to more AI platforms. I hope it helps you as much as it’s helped me. I’d love to hear what you use it for.

Who hunted Living Projects?
Living Projects was hunted by Mariya Alexandra Milan.
