lirix
Synced lyrics and guitar chords over your music player
A free, open-source Android companion for synced lyrics and guitar chords while you listen. Lirix reads track info from Android media notifications, looks up lyrics/chords on demand, and can show the current line in a floating overlay. Includes chord transposition, fingering diagrams, and a Tap-to-Sync editor. GPL-3.0, no ads or telemetry.
I built Lirix because following lyrics or guitar chords usually means switching away from the music app. Lirix reads the current track from Android media notifications, looks up lyrics or chords on demand, and can float the current line over your player. It also includes chord transposition and fingering diagrams, plus a Tap-to-Sync editor for unsynced lyrics. It's free, GPL-3.0, has no ads or telemetry, and keeps saved history locally. I'd especially appreciate feedback on Android device and music-player compatibility.

Who hunted lirix?
lirix was hunted by Даниил Гандапас. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
