LessTube
Customize YouTube. Hide Shorts. Stay in control.
LessTube started as a personal project after a YouTube customization extension I used switched to a subscription model. I wanted a free alternative that puts users in control of their YouTube experience. Hide Shorts and distractions, customize the video grid, blur thumbnails, disable hover autoplay, and fine-tune the interface with an element picker. No account, tracking, or external requests - just a cleaner YouTube, your way.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm the developer behind LessTube, and I'm excited to share it here!
I started this project because an extension I used to customize YouTube switched to a subscription model. I wanted a free alternative that would let me control my own YouTube experience, so I decided to build one myself.
LessTube lets you hide Shorts and other distractions, customize the video grid, blur thumbnails, disable hover autoplay, and much more.
This is my first project that I've taken from the initial idea all the way to publishing, so seeing people enjoy using it and share positive feedback has been incredibly rewarding.
I'd love to hear what you think! What would you change or add to make LessTube even more useful?
