LearnByDoing

Screen-watching AI that guides you through any workflow

LearnByDoing watches your screen and guides you through any software task in real time. It has three modes. Step-By-Step Mode walks you through click by click inside your actual app. Coach Mode watches silently and nudges you when you get stuck. Agent Mode takes over a few steps then hands you back control. Anyone can build a guide. Creators can publish guides for anyone to use. Businesses can build internal ones to onboard staff, train teams, and guide customers through their tools.

Top comment

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I built LearnByDoing out of a frustration I lived firsthand. I led an AI automation cohort and noticed something every time: students would sit through the live session, nod along, feel confident - then open the actual tool and freeze. They weren't lacking knowledge. They just had no one there when it mattered. That's the gap I wanted to close. Not another tutorial. Something that's actually present when you open the app and don't know what to click next. I started with just step-by-step mode. A early user pushed back and said the constant prompts might add cognitive load, so I built Coach mode, which watches silently and only steps in when you're stuck. That one piece of feedback genuinely changed the product. So if you try it and have thoughts, I am all ears. I also realized this goes beyond individual learners. Creators can build and publish guides for their communities. Businesses can build internal ones to onboard staff and train teams without writing a single manual. We are just getting started. Would love for you to download the app and try it. Looking forward to your feedback and suggestions! 🙏
